We believe there are two fundamental groups when it comes to sport.
Those who watch (Watchers) and those who play (Players).
In the business of sport they are really the only two groups that matter. Part of what we do involves generating creative strategies for sport organizations or companies that have nothing whatsoever to do with sport as a core business, but are looking to tap into the essence of what makes sport so powerful. The objective is to enable the organization to entertain, inform and inspire the Watchers.
We also have the privilege of working with the Players. For us that’s a pretty big honour because they’re the reason the Watchers and the entire sport business industry exist in the first place. Virtually all of us started in the play group as youngsters. Only a very small contingent however move to Players, the people who capture our awe and ire by being more talented and working harder than the the rest of us. We’re also here to help the Players entertain, inform and inspire the Watchers.
The basics are surprisingly simple . The details however can get a little more complex . Websites, advertising, sponsorships, apparel, social media? You’ve only scratched the surface of how to capture and convey the essence of sport.
